Attending EVO 2011

After a small seminar in my school I came across an add about TESOL seminar under the name EVO - Electronic Villlage Online. I decided to join in even though I didn't know what to expect. So, I enrolled in two seminars one called BAW2011 and the other  Creating Vocabulary Activities.

During 5 weeks teachers from all around the world comment, work together, laugh, learn whether in online virtual classrooms or using some webtools. It has been a thrilling and overwhelming experience for me, something I really haven't expected. But, what is most important is the help, support, knowledge of our moderators and co-ordinators who encourage you to become a Webhaed and use the Internet for self training and for eduaction of others, by this I mean our students.

It took me a while to start this blog, because eventhough people who know me would say I speak a lot. Somehow, I didn't know what to say! But I got the advice from a wonderful webhead Teresa, just try it - in small steps.
So, I did. Hope to have even more things to write here especially when our 5 week EVO courses finish, but for now, this is it.

  3. Hi, Marijana

This is a really nice idea. You may always update this blog by adding all the products you created for BAW and the sessions attended. Great idea, Larisa

  4. Thank you Larissa, Blogging is really time consuming for a mum and a busy teacher like me, but since I already have so many followers I will have to update it more often! :))

  5. Hi Marijana.

I like the look and feel of your blog. Also, your first post was well thought out and written. I agree with you, the Evo sessions were good, although a bit overwhelming for me as I had only read blogs, never created one or a wiki either. I thoroughly enjoyed creating a blog and wiki once I got the hang of it. I look forward to keeping up with yours and other Webhead blogs in the future.
